Le Noise Visual Listening Party Opportunity!

Posted on Sep 29, 2010

A man A plan A canal is excited to offer you a new event opportunity with Neil Young’s Le Noise. This special event offers you the chance to host a visual listening party for Neil Young’s fantastic new album Le Noise. Shot by photographer Adam Vollick, the Le Noise DVD artistically documents 8 haunting performances of Neil Young recording the album live with Daniel Lanois. This DVD is not available for sale, giving your station a unique screening opportunity.

Go here to watch “The Making of Le Noise” which gives you a better idea of what the album is about and shows you some footage from the DVD.

To set this up you need to find a projector or TV for the screening as I will just be providing you with a copy of the DVD. Screenings could take place at a campus or community theatre, outside, in a classroom, or anywhere you think it could work. It could be a station event or you could work with your school’s activity board. Get creative and have fun with it.

The first date you can hold a listening party is this Friday, October 1st. The listening party should be free and take place sometime over the next month or so.

After you’ve found a date, time, and location for the party, I will send you the DVD and posters so you can begin promotion for the event.

Contact us if you’d like to set up a screening of Neil Young’s Le Noise!
