Cheikh Lô – Coming This Week

Be on the lookout for new music by the Senegalese singer and multi-instrumentalist Cheikh Lô. We will be servicing his first album in 5 years, Jamm, this week. Jamm is true to its album title with the smooth mbalaxm rhythms accompanied by Lô’s soothing husky voice. Uncut called it the “African album of the year,” and the Guardian said, “Cheikh Lô is back with an album that reconfirms his position as one of the finest, one of the most soulful singers in West Africa.”
