Hey Radio…with Erik

People would always joke, “Hey Erik, you should do a ‘Catching Up with Erik’, kind of like how Graham does”. We would laugh and I would say I would start working on it. A couple months later they’d bring it up more seriously and I’d say, “Yeah, it’s done but I’ve been tweaking it, it’ll come out soon”. Then I started calling it the Detox of “Catching Up…” but finally, Graham was like – “You really should do one”. So here I am, catching you up on what I’ve been up to outside of A man A plan A canal. Last week I made it out to see Iceage rip through a set of songs off their two records here in Los Angeles. Singer Elias Ronnenfelt threw himself into the crowd multiple times which only elevated the show’s intensity. That following weekend I found myself in Palm Springs for my friends’ wedding which resulted in 1 paramedic and 1 of the most serious dancefloor sing-alongs of Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo” yet.
