Augustines – KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic

Augustines are slated to release their sophomore, self-titled album tomorrow, but stations were given advance copies of the release last week. The album takes their anthemic songwriting to new heights, due in part to producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Frightened Rabbit). The group visited the KCRW studios to share songs from their new album on Morning Becomes Eclectic. They opened with lead single “Cruel City” in which host Jason Bentley notes, sounded bigger than the three musicians in the studio. Augustines start a North American tour in the beginning of February that goes on through the end of late March -check the website for the full tour dates. Listen to the live in-studio and interview here & help give Augustines an impressive and much deserved debut at CMJ!
