Blackie & The Rodeo Kings – CBC Toque Sessions

Earlier this month, the highly acclaimed Blackie and the Rodeo Kings stopped in at CBC‘s Toque Sessions to perform a few songs. The Nashville trio has been keeping busy lately, and just finished up their North American tour with a few highly praised shows at SXSW & shows at esteemed Nashville venues The Bluebird Cafe & Grand Ole Opry House. Of their newest album South, Linden says, “This record began its life as an all-acoustic trio record, for vinyl only and featuring mostly songs we had already recorded, or other people’s songs we loved.
