Doug Gillard – Rave Reviews

We can all agree that Doug Gillard‘s musical career is pretty enviable. He’s been a part of bands like Guided by Voices, Death of Samantha, and Nada Surf, earning a solid reputation for his impressive guitar skills in other bands, but not quite the same acclaim for his own work. As The Big Takeover explains in their recent review of Parade On, “Doug Gillard has never gotten the attention he deserves for his own career.” The Big Takeover thinks his 3rd solo record has the power to change this, however, as it is “his best to date.” Read the rest of the dazzling review here.
