Careful – PopMatters Track Premiere – New Peak at CMJ

The World Doesn’t End by Careful is growing at CMJ. The album reached another peak last week, landing at #111. PopMatters gave one of the title tracks, “The World Doesn’t End (Part II)”, a premiere recently. The song starts in the style of The Microphones – quiet & affecting – and pulls away the lo-fi sheath to reveal an optomistic horn section and a playful melody between Eric Lindley and his pitch-shifted, self.
