The Donkeys – The Line Of Best Fit Review – Debut at CMJ

The Donkeys‘ latest release, Ride the Black Wave, shimmers with the band’s delicate, dusty instrumentals and their hazy vocals. The Line Of Best Fit recently reviewed the album, exploring the influences and appeal of The Donekys‘ signature, Southern California sound – “As well as having one of the best names in modern music, The Donkeys have one of the chillest, coolest sounds you’re likely to find outside of a Jicks record… their sound is pretty astounding to fans of sun, relaxation and chiming guitars.”

The review delves into the specifics of various songs on the album, from the “hushed whisper” of the vocals, to the relaxed and glistening guitar lines. Check out the rest of The Line Of Best Fit‘s review here! The Donkeys have taken off at CMJ, debuting at #45 – give them a push this week.
