Donkeys – Noisey Interview – New Peak at CMJ

The Donkeys recently sat down with Kyle Kramer from Noisey for a great interview about the new album Ride The Black Wave, their songwriting process, their label, and what it’s like to be married and in a band. Noisey praised their latest, saying, “It’s a perfect summer album, for those days when the warm weather seems like it will stretch out forever, to a point that’s almost unsettling.” The full interview can be found here. The Donkeys have recently reached a new peak of #31 on the CMJ charts. They have upcoming sessions and in-studios with KEXP, OPBMusic, Daytrotter and others, as well as a new video for “Scissor Me Cigs” which will premiere in the coming weeks! The Donkeys are also embarking on a summer tour which begins today, and will continue until the beginning of August.
