EDJ – AllMusic Review – Debut at CMJ

AllMusic recently published a shining four-star review of EDJ‘s self-titled debut album. Writer James Christopher Monger praised the record’s “not-so-obvious hooks and richly detailed yet never intrusive arrangements.” The former Fruit Bats frontman combines spacious production with intimately acoustic pop across eleven tracks, “all of which,” AllMusic thought, “Are sweet enough for Sunday morning, yet carry with them the weight of a lost weekend.” See the full review here and support EDJ’s down-to-earth stylings on the air this week! The record debuted at #58 at CMJ Radio 200 and is looking for a new peak.
