Geneviève Bellemare on NPR

The new EP by Geneviève Bellemare, Live and Die, is introducing radio to a new voice. The French Canadian born artist is now based in LA, and managed to work with an impressive ensemble of collaborators who, between them all, have worked with Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Amy Winehouse, Edie Brickell, & Elvis Costello. Her sound mixes the classic with the new — NPR‘s Bob Boilen described the EP as balancing “jazz with rock rhythms behind a song that’s carefully composed, but her singing makes it all feel intuitive.” Read the feature here. Her EP was a made a top Add last week by stations like KCSB, KTXT, WDBM, & WUNH. Give Live and Die a debut this week!
