Stereogum just premiered the new single, “Take a Little Time” from Kathryn Calder’s (New Pornographers, Immaculate Machine) forthcoming self-titled album. A prolific and interdisciplinary artist, Calder has already released two solo albums and is working on a documentary. The lead single “Take a Little Time” is a mobile, dangling synthy pop song with floating vocals and bopping guitars. Stereogum describes it as, “an expansive, dreamy track that’s charged with emotion, moving through the weight of loss and building to an effusive climax that seems to simulate the eventual freedom of letting go.”
