CHAPPO Celebrate EP Review on Culture Collide

New 4 track EP, Celebrate, from New York natives CHAPPO was featured and warmly reviewed by Culture Collide. CHAPPO has built a loyal fan base since their start in 2009 due in part to their captivating live shows – and Celebrate certainly embodies that – always harmonic, often psychedelic, and sometimes even disco. The quartet truly “show [their] palette…and the complexity of styles they have to offer.” The four songs are each different and complex but complement each other and work in unison to create an EP that feels like a full record. Noting first track, “I’m Not Ready”, for it’s “accelerated drum pulse” and pointing out the “west coast vibe and playful tempo changes” of “Timeline”, Culture Collide says CHAPPO “deliver an addicting and sway worthy index of tracks”.
