Kate Pierson Interviews w/ Newstalk & NY Post

The solo album by Kate Pierson is still spinning at CMJ, charting for the 6th week in a row! The roots of her solo project first started a decade ago, but a surprise hit in Japan from her band NiNa and the recording of The B-52s 2008 album, Funplex, put it on the backburner. Pierson co-wrote the new album with Sia & she told Newstalk, “Every time we went to write a song it was a sort of magical happening”. Listen to the interview here.
