DTCV Album Reviews – Looking to break at Radio 200

The new album by DTCV is starting to pick up momentum at radio. Their 4th album, Uptime!, saw chart support from stations like KHNS, KHOL, Ohio.fm, WLFR, WMCX, WNCW, WRRG & WUNH – putting it just shy of reaching the CMJ Radio 200. Northern Transmissions said the new album “build[s] upon [their] indie rock foundation that harks back to the American alternative noise-rock stylings of the 1990s”. Taking from the post-punk of the ’80s and the underground rock of the ’90s – two eras that are as relevant as ever – “Vivarock’s radiant, catchy vocal harmonies and gently fluted, wordless coos contrast with the sharp edge of careening distorted guitar”. Read the full review here. Get Uptime! up there and show it some Top 30 support!
