Kathryn Calder is Reviewed by Pitchfork, Tours West Coast

Kathryn Calder, whose self-titled third solo album made a big debut at #59 on the CMJ Radio 200 last week, has also received a strong review from Pitchfork. The review, here, takes note of the record’s “instrumental and textural variation” and compares it favorably to her previous solo efforts, saying it’s “more intimate but also more considered. It does more while calling less attention to itself”.

Calder, who is also a member of Canadian supergroup the New Pornographers, is currently on a West Coast tour. Check out the dates below, and give her some radio support when she comes to your town:
