Tame Impala Remixes Kuroma; Tour with Tennis Starts Tomorrow

Kuroma‘s “20+ Centuries,” which opens the band’s stunning new album Kuromarama, has gotten the remix treatment from Tame Impala‘s Jay Watson, aka Gum. Listen to the remix, which has debuted on Noisey, here. The site evocatively describes the original as “zingy, kaleidoscopic kind of power pop with a herd of stallions stampeding all over it,” while the remix is “Ratatat on amphetamines, whirling on a warp speed merry-go-round.”

The Kuroma/Tame Impala connection is a natural one; after all, the two bands will be touring the US together starting later this month and stretching into June. Before that, though, the band hits the road with Tennis. The tour begins tomorrow in Austin, and the dates are below:
