DTCV Converses with Rebel Noise

Rebel Noise recently had a conversation with Guylaine Vivarat and James Greer, the duo behind the band DTCV. Their album Uptime! has been received enthusiastically at stations around the country that appreciate its smart blend of noise rock and pop sensibilities. According to Rebel Noise interviewer Jen Dan, the band produces a great blend of Sonic Youth‘s instrumentation and Debbie Harry‘s vocals.

In the extensive interview, Dan asks DTCV about their tour, their songwriting process, their life in Joshua Tree, California, and what it’s like to have a song selected for the soundtrack of a Christophe Honoré film. Read the whole thing here.
