NEEDS is Reviewed by Ground Control and Georgia Straight, Goes on Tour

Vancouver-based mature hardcore act NEEDS has been getting great reviews of their self-titled debut album. According to Ground Control Mag, which praises the album for a “human mix to hardcore which hasn’t really been done as well since Circle Jerks,” says that “it’s very possible that NEEDS will be the new blood which launches the next punk renaissance – it is that good and that inspiring.” Read the whole review here.

Georgia Straight, a local alt-weekly in Vancouver, recently published a feature on the band featuring an interview with singer Sean Orr. In it, Orr talks about the motivations behind the band’s songs and his self-described “gross” antics on and offstage. Check that out here.
