NEEDS Album stream on Exclaim – Review of Debut Album – June Canadian Tour – Looking for CMJ Debut

Vancouver-based hardcore act NEEDS has continued to find support with their self-titled LP in recent weeks. The album is currently streaming via Exclaim here, who describes the album as being “steered by a series of wiry six-string licks and propulsive drum pummeling as much as it is by the at-times comical, politically driven howls of frontman Sean Orr.”

The band’s self-titled debut also received a positive review from PunkNews.org, who praised NEEDS for their ability to make their music intensely gripping, energetic, and comical all at once. “NEEDS smartly resists the urge to outstay their welcome by hitting you with a barrage of energy.
