Fool’s Gold is Featured in Millennial Mag, Shares Music on Consequence of Sound – Breaks at CMJ Top 40

Fool’s Gold‘s vivacious third album Flying Lessons edged into the Top 40 of the CMJ Radio 200 this week. Last summer, the band talked to Millennial Magazine about the making of the album. After touring relentlessly around the world to promote their first two records, the band stepped back in 2012 to take their time on what would become Flying Lessons. According to the article, “the band wanted to mature their sound… and relax into their creativity.” It worked, and the new album takes the band’s signature, worldly dance pop in exciting new directions. Consequence of Sound has one of the album’s songs, “Lady of the Lake,” continuing what the site calls a trend of “exceptionally summery singles” from the band.
