David Terry, the man behind Seattle's Aqueduct, had a strong run of successes in the middle of the last decade – including before taking time off in a self-imposed exile that ended up lasting eight years. Yet Consequence of Sound says that Wild Knights, Terry's return to form after his hiatus, "sounds just as fresh as his previous material. It’s like catching up with an old friend, chatting the night away about their struggles and triumphs." CoS has a full-length stream of the album, which it notes is permeated with joyousness despite its sometimes-dark subject matter, here.
