The Bird and the Bee Perform on KCSN & are #9 at CMJ Radio 200; Bandmember Greg Kurstin Talks to Q Magazine

The Bird and the Bee stopped by Los Angeles' KCSN 88.5 FM to do a live session last week, joining an incredibly impressive roster of artists – both obscure and huge – who have performed on the station in recent years. The band showed off a few essential cuts from new LP Recreational Love, which moved in to the Top Ten in its second week on the CMJ Radio 200 last week. Hear their effervescent songs, interspersed with illuminative interviews with the band about their process and influences, here

In addition to his work with the Bird and the Bee, member Greg Kurstin is an in-demand producer who regularly collaborates with Beck. In a new interview with Q Magazine, Kurstin discusses that Beck connection as well as the artistic relationship he has with Bird and the Bee singer Inara George. The interview, here, also includes and embed of an acoustic version of Recreational Love lead single "Will You Dance?"
