Wall Street Journal Features Jeremy and the Harlequins’ “You’re My Halo”

In a recent feature, The Wall Street Journal explored Jeremy and the Harlequin’s debut full-length release, American Dreamer, with specific focus on the band’s revamped version of standout track “You’re My Halo.” Originally recorded with frontman Jeremy Fury‘s previous band, the track was sharpened with Fury‘s “reverb-soaked vocals and backing shoo-wops” and was eventually added to the collection of songs that became American Dreamer.

“It was the last song we chose to record for ‘American Dreamer,’” Fury says. “Stevie [Jeremy’s brother] suggested trying to update ‘You’re My Halo.’ We did, and it ended up becoming one of our favorites on the album.” Read the entire feature and hear the updated version of the vintage-style rock ‘n’ roll track here.
