Fever the Ghost Kick-Off US Tour w/ “1518” Music Video Premiere

For a debut album, Fever the Ghost‘s Zirconium Meconium manages to push the boundaries of music further than some groups achieve throughout their entire career. The new music video for “1518” continues this trend by showcasing a fledgling technology that allows you to explore a music video like never before. For the video, the psych-glam-kraut-pop band went to fellow Angelino Lionel Williams (Vinyl Williams) to collaborate and create a music video utilizing augmented reality. As Williams explains, “one can pivot & look around a celestial environment with a phone / tablet – as well as with a computer using the arrow keys that appear on the video. The footage was shot at the center of a black hole, where 360 degree realities are apparent from all angles of human ocular vestiges.” Click here to check out the Noisey premiere of the video or watch it below and let your fingers take you on an adventure like no other.
