Futurebirds, On Tour Soon, are Featured by KEXP

KEXP, Seattle’s beloved public radio station, selected Futurebirds‘ “Deadbeat Hits” as its Song of the Day on Monday, November 23rd. According to the site, the band’s new album Hotel Parties “shows them continuing their winning formula, balancing the devastating fragility that only the best country can hold with the fun of southern rock, filtered through a distorted haze.” “Deadbeat Hits” finds the Georgia-based sextet in fine form, serving “as an upbeat break from its beautifully sorrow-soaked counterparts” on the album.
