Paste Premieres The Pines’ “Hanging From the Earth”

“It’s a dreamy country love song of sorts,” says the Pines’ Benson Ramsey about “Hanging From the Earth.” The gorgeous song, one of many highlights on the band’s new LP Above the Prairie, was recently premiered on Paste Magazine. In the accompanying feature, Ramsey explains, “It’s sort of a meditational breakdown on the fact that we are floating through space, levitating between the past and future, with tender hearts and anxious thoughts. This is about standing out on the Great Plains and feeling part of the earth and sky.”
