The Donkeys Play Public Radio Sessions, Continue Tour

At the beginning of their nationwide, southern-routed tour last year, the Donkeys took some time to perform a few songs for Public Radio Sessions. Based in Atlanta, Public Radio is “a takeaway-styled music film production… [that] arranges and films performances… [that] are intimate yet public, hosted in accessible locations.” For their appearance, the Donkeys sat on the porch of an abandoned house in Northeast Atlanta, stripping down their already laid-back sound on gorgeously minimal versions of two songs from their last album, Ride the Black Wave, as well as “Down the Line,” the first single from new mini-album Midnight Palms. Watch “Down the Line” below, and go here to read about the session.
