Indie Band Guru Hails the black watch’s “Genius;” Magnet Shares “Pershing/Harvard Square”

According to the Indie Band Guru, the black watch‘s new album Highs and Lows “is nothing short of musical genius.” According to the review, bandleader John Andrew Fredrick “has taken the strongest elements of ’80s music and made them relevant again” on tracks that combine “the energy of The Ramones with the emotion of The Cure.” The glowing review, which makes it clear that the band is adding something unique and original to its influences, is here.
