Tacocat Feels The Bern, Hates The Weekend, Tours, and Seeks CMJ Peak

Tacocat was recently asked to perform at a Bernie Sanders rally in Seattle, and the Stranger talked to the band’s singer Emily Nokes about the experience. “The invite was so casual that at first we assumed it was one of those community-organized liberal park frolics or some kind of Bands 4 Bernie BBQ,” Nokes said, but it turned out to be a serious rally and the band got some serious love from the candidate himself. In addition, they got to meet John Popper. Read all about it right here.

The band has a fresh new music video for “I Hate the Weekend,” the first cut off their biting new LP Lost Time. Check it out, via Spin, right here.
