Film Fans Flock to DTCV; Brooklyn Vegan Streams “Bourgeois Pop”

DTCV, whose new album Confusion Moderne is currently at Radio 200, have been drawing attention from the film world after connecting with star director Steven Soderbergh on their most recent music video. The Film Stage has an embed of the video, “Historie Seule,” which includes a message from the band about how it relates to the song’s content: “Lola G.’s lyrics are about how women tend to get erased from history. Steven’s video presents a slyly subversive but more iconographic and idiosyncratic take on history’s flux.” Watch it here or below:

Before the album’s release, Brooklyn Vegan featured another of its standout tracks, “Bourgeois Pop.” The site calls the song “charming” and describes it as “a fuzzy little gem en français.” Check it out here. Get it moving on your chart today!
