Northern Transmissions Premieres All India Radio Video, and A Pessimist Is Never Disappointed Reviews LP

All India Radio‘s video for “The Slow Light,” the title track of the Australian producer Martin Kennedy‘s new LP, has debuted on Northern Transmissions. According to the site, “the dreamy, breaking-dawn soundscape of ‘The Slow Light’ flows like a beautifully languid reverie and its low-key companion video matches the slowly unfurling radiance with visuals that are infused with a gauzy haze.” Citing the song’s “entrancingly magnetic and ethereally enigmatic pull,” Northern Transmissions promises that it will lull viewers “into a serene trance.” Watch the video here or below:

Recently, A Pessimist Is Never Disappointed gave a positive review to the new LP, saying that Kennedy’s approach isn’t “bogged down in the trappings of dance music, or stuttering electronica” and “feels human.” Comparing the album to works by Brian Eno, Harold Budd, the Cocteau Twins, and Penguin Cafe Orchestra, the review calls the album “superb.” Check it out here.
