Fruit Bats is Most Added at CMJ, Get Reviewed By American Songwriter

American Songwriter approves of Absolute Loser, the new Fruit Bats album that is looking for a solid debut week at Radio 200 after topping last week’s New Adds chart. The album is full of “winning, uplifting music that’s inspirational, even rousing,” writes the site, as Fruit Bats “find a comfortable middle road between folk, pop and rock with melodies that flow rather than explode out of the speakers.” According to American Songwriter, this may even be the best installment in the project’s six-album career.
