Woods / The Men: Live at Pickathon Goes For Adds

This year’s Pickathon, the outdoor weekend music festival at Pendarvis Farms in gorgeous Happy Valley, Oregon, recently concluded. According to VICE, Pickathon is the “the dreamiest music festival ever,” based on a “homespun, magical fairy forest vision” that brings musicians and fans together in one of “the prettiest, chillest, and most enjoyable” environments for a festival in the US. This year marked the 18th year of the festival, which is rooted in folk and Americana music but which has grown to encompass a stunning variety of genres.

To celebrate the festival, the people behind Pickathon have put together some limited-edition split-LPs featuring live sets recorded at Pickathons past. Recorded in 2014, the third release in the Live at Pickathon series includes a side by Woods along with a side by The Men, with cover art created by Travis Bone of Furturtle. Though recorded live, the sound quality is impeccable and perfectly captures the familial, friendly feelings of these performances.

Limited to a one-time pressing of 1,500 copies, this special-edition release is only being made digitally available via this servicing.
