Coast Modern Stops By Laguna Beach’s KX 93.5, Announces Tour

One of the coolest things about Coast Modern is the band’s quirky and lush production style. Bandmates Luke Atlas and Coleman Trapp spent years trying to write songs for others before deciding to try their hand at indie pop with Coast Modern, and their singles put their tremendous chops on display. That’s why it’s so interesting to hear them play acoustically; stripping their songs down casts them in a different light, showcasing the strong writing behind recordings that are full of bells and whistles. For a taste, check out their recent performance on KX 93.5. In addition to playing novel, bare versions of hits “Hollow Life” and “Guru,” the duo also sat for an interview.
