KAYE Talks To NYLON, Debuts at CMJ

NYLON recently interviewed KAYE, discussing the musician’s new solo EP Honey as well as her work as a member of NYC indie pop collective San Fermin. About that band, KAYE explains how she joined it during a time when “I wasn’t totally sure if I even wanted to continue with music because I was in this quagmire of self-doubt, and writing didn’t seem as free and as natural as it had in the past.” Fortunately, San Fermin not only gave her a chance to play “sideman” but also gave her the kick to get back in the solo game and write the songs that became Honey. In addition, the interview delves into her influences, what she’s watching, with whom she’d love to collaborate, and why her motto is “Failed? No problem. Next idea.” Get the whole scoop here.

KAYE has debuted on the CMJ Radio 200 chart and now is shooting for the Top 100. Help get her there!
