Babewatch Gets Premiered on The Bait Shop and Makes A Big Debut at CMJ

The Bait Shop recently premiered “No Sleep,” one of many bangers on Babewatch‘s debut LP, Wasted Time. Calling the song “hazy yet elating,” the site praises it for “instantly catchy guitar parts, layered with echoing vocals,” which the Bait Shop compares to the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind?” The site also has some info about the motivation for the song, provided via email by singer/guitarist Peter Kegler: “It’s about feeling a little disillusioned with parts of your life…those blues you get when you’ve been partying too much and not sleeping enough, and you kind of mull everything over.” Listen here!
