Noisey Premieres Ablebody’s “One Dime A Day,” New Album Debuts at CMJ

Noisey has a crush on Ablebody, writing that the band is “as perfect a pop package as you can get, really: Handsome twin brothers, summery lo-fi tracks, and a ‘formerly of’ CV that includes The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and The Depreciation Guild.” The site has the premier of the band’s new video for “One Dime A Day,” just one of the many fantastic tracks on debut LP Adult Contemporaries. The video is undoubtedly strange, featuring a neon-tinged office party and some slow-motion, slithering dance moves. Watch it here or below.

Produced by Kenny Gilmore of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Adult Contemporaries sounds both nostalgic and refreshingly unique. The album hit #103 in the band’s CMJ debut! Aiming for a new peak, get it spinning now.
