Devendra Banhart, whose album Ape In Pink Marble is currently at Radio 200, has a reputation for possessing a charming quirkiness that is on full display in a recent interview with Exclaim! Entitled “Five Facts Devendra Banhart Seems To Believe About Devendra Banhart,” the feature quotes the freak-folk pioneer as he discusses alternative titles for the album – among them is Fish Taco in Chrome – and gives limited insight into the quizzical album art (“those are not hooves, those are in fact go-go boots, and they are caught between either ascending or descending.”) Read the interview here.
