The Pines Tour The Upper Midwest

The La Crosse Tribune recently interviewed The Pines in advance of last weekend’s show in Viroqua, Wisconsin, and the band explained how the Midwest has influenced its sound and worldview. “Part of being from the Midwest is that it gives you a patient overlook on things that sweep across the country,” band member Huckfelt told the publication. “There’s a slowness of life and a kind of caring and natural beauty.” Read the whole interview here.
