The Pines Play For KUMD

The Pines released Above The Prairie earlier this year. According to PopMatters, the album “feels like a roots art record; at times you’re asked to consider what Radiohead might sound like if driven by wood and steel rather than ones and zeros.” No Depression said the record is “a call and response between the universe and our little lives here on Earth.” The band recently stopped by Studio A on KUMD to perform songs from that LP, as well as a self-released EP paying tribute to the American folk song tradition, and their performance can be heard right here.
