The World Features Mariza
The name of Mariza‘s most recent album is Mundo, so it’s appropriate that the famed Portuguese fado singer got a recent feature on PRI’s The World. “‘Mundo’ is an invitation to people to get inside of my world,” Mariza told the program, “my music world, my personal world because I can’t separate them both. I’m just one person, so everything is connected.” The album followed a five-year absence for the singer, who took time to focus on being a mother.
