Soundblab Goes Crazy Over Gothic Tropic

According to Soundblab, Gothic Tropic‘s new album is “killer.” The site contends that Fast Or Feast “checks all the boxes. Vocals. Songwriting. Solos. And it sounds so good from a production standpoint. I mean, this stuff is original, but also honed and polished—star-making machinery.” Comparing bandleader Cecilia Della Peruti’s guitar playing to Pat Metheny and her songwriting to Tennis and Lush, the site says that “the writing is solid on this album, track after track,” and particularly emphasizes album openers “Stronger” and “How Life Works.” Read the review here.
