Aquarium Drunkard Interviews Steve Wynn of The Dream Syndicate

“From the beginning,” The Dream Syndicate‘s Steve Wynn tells Aquarium Drunkard in a recent interview, “we wanted to be psychedelic, but not in the bell bottoms and tie-dye sort of way, but something that would give you a head trip and take you somewhere else from where you started.” The band has certainly accomplished that over a career that spans 35 years, and their evolved aesthetic is about to be on display with the release of their first album since the 1980s – How Did I Find Myself Here? – later this week.
