Coast Modern Sits With Met Radio

Coast Modern sat with Met Radio, the student voice of MSU Denver, for an interview about their hit self-titled debut album. In addition to giving some crucial details about the album’s creation, the band also offers up ideas about their future (“It would be cool to make album in like a destination album, like go to Scandinavia… or just get a tropical cabin in the rainforest or on a boat”) and how they envision Coast Modern as something bigger than just a band (“We’re talking scents, candles maybe but not just products but like films, art, and creative spaces, events, happenings, and curating other cool art that we enjoy”). It’s also the rare interview that turns its attention away from its subject, getting a nice quote from a Coast Modern superfan who is currently following the band across the country like a common Deadhead. What a long, strange trip! Read the interview here.

Coast Modern is still trucking on the NACC 200 – it’s spent a month in the Top 40 and is one of the most-successful debuts of the year! Keep showing it love.
