The Stranger Says L.A. Witch, On Tour Now, “Sounds Better Than Most”

Seattle alt-weekly The Stranger recently published a review of L.A. Witch‘s debut LP, which “sounds like it was conjured by some occult force.” According to the article, “their music is smoky and panoramic, capturing both the claustrophobia of seedy bars and the freedom of sweeping vistas. Plenty of other Southern Californian bands can be traced back to these reference points; L.A. Witch just sounds better than most.”  Read the full review, which includes interview snippets from the band, right here.
That review was published as the band went through Seattle, performing for ravenous fans at venues around the area and recording a rad session for KEXP. The band is still on tour, with a show in Reno tonight and many more to come. See L.A. Witch live!
