DIY Mag Shares Pollyn’s “Findaway,” Featuring Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor

Pollyn, the influential LA-based electro-pop outfit, is no longer active. But DIY Mag says “Findaway” is “not a bad way to bow out.” The group’s final single features vocals from Hot Chip‘s Alexis Taylor, who teams up with Pollyn’s Genevieve Artadi “across rolling beats and stabs of glitchy electronica. Across the top,” says DIY, “the delicate natures of both Alexis’ and Genevieve’s voices glide, occasionally combining to form some beautiful harmonies.” Check out the track here.

“Findaway” is the first track on the radio version Here Lies Pollyn (2003-2016), a career-spanning collection going for NACC debuts next week. The set has cuts from across the band’s career, as well as some new remixes including one from Dan the Automator featuring vocals from Del the Funky Homosapien. Get it spinning now!
