About their new song, the band says, “The ‘Age of Information’ is two things. On a cultural scale, it’s the time immediately following the age of reason when the quest for truth is overcome by the quest for knowledge. Facts are diluted by the unprecedented amount of information available at a moment’s notice … On a personal scale, the age of information is the time in one’s life in which they are exposed to the inevitable circumstances of life — love and loss, birth and death, fact and fabrication. The song is about the intersection of these two ages of information. For young people these days, the real problems in the world – corruption, poverty, racism, oppression – are washed over by the constant flow of media.”
