Paste Compares Simon Doom To The Cure

Paste Magazine has thrown its weight behind Simon Doom, calling the band “one of New York City’s best kept secrets.” Says the site, the quartet’s new song “Lucifer The Light Bearer” is “an absolute banger of a surf-tinged indie rock anthem” that sounds a little like The Cure. We may still be in the first half of the week, but Paste contends that this new Simon Doom single will transport listeners to “to 5 pm on a Friday.” Check it out here.
