Leyya Gets Set For US Live Debut

In their native Austria, Leyya is huge. The duo is also known around Europe for their technicolor sound and bombastic production. Yet they haven’t performed in the United States.

That’s set to change next week, when the band comes out to Austin for SXSW:

Saturday, March 10 – 6pm – Palm Door on Sixth, EU in Austin – Opening Reception

Tuesday, March 13  -12 noon – Barracuda Bar (German House) – Austrian Day

Wednesday, March 14 – 8pm – Esther’s Follies (Official Showcase)

According to SXSW, Leyya “creates a foreign but familiar surrounding—spherical, floating but also violent and impulsive.” We agree, and we recommend checking them out if you are in Austin next week.
